Major joist deflection repairs
Our client had a nyc building code violation which included three joists that were held up by a central girder. We installed three new joists bolted to the existing deflected joists. We removed the violation and installed a new drop ceiling.

This picture shows how the joist all rest on a wood Beam that is held up by 2" * 4" studs. This framing is very inefficient for the loads they carry, hence the building sagging.

After we tightened all bolts and had the engineer approve all work we added a light gauger aluminum drop ceiling so we can add extra sound dampening insulation, and level the new ceiling.
